Join the Bevan Foundation as we share our new research on the harms and benefits of money management apps.

What’s it about?

Money management apps are among a new breed of fintech products that have been enabled by Open Banking. The apps offer a range of services that promise to make it easier for people to manage their money, build up their savings and to pay down debt. These apps have offered a potential lifeline for some, but with very little research undertaken into the sector not much is known about their potential harms and benefits for people on low incomes.

Over the past year the Bevan Foundation have been working to explore the potential harms and benefits of these apps. Join the Foundation as they launch a new report that shares their key findings.

Who should attend?

The webinar is sure to be of interest to everyone interested in social justice and FinTech in Wales and across the UK. is set to be of particular interest, however, to those working in advice roles, in finance and access to money, and those interested in how technology could play a role in solving poverty.

Attendance is free.
