Join IFAN and Trussell for an online event looking at cash first or income-focused approaches to poverty in the South West.

It isn’t right that people don’t have enough money to afford the essentials such as food. We all have a role to play in building a society where nobody needs to turn to charitable food aid to be able to eat.

Following successful joint conferences in Scotland (A Cash First Future and Cash First Communities), the Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN) and Trussell are running an online event during Challenge Poverty Week showcasing cash first or income-focused practices to poverty and food insecurity in the South West of England.

Join us to learn about cash first approaches being taken in various areas across the South West England as well as the groundbreaking work that’s underway in Scotland through the Scottish Government’s plan Cash-First: Towards ending the need for food banks in Scotland.
