`PERIOD POWER! Artist Talk & Bracelet Making Workshop

Join me, Corinne a disabled Artist for this special PERIOD POWER! Zoom Bracelet Making Workshop! I’ll discuss my photographic self-portraits, which explore my experiences of Period Poverty, whilst we create special ‘Period Power!’ bracelets.

This event is happening on Sat October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM BST ONLINE!

By making and proudly wearing your bracelets, made up of 28 beads representing the average length of the menstrual cycle, you’ll help start conversations and raise awareness of Period Poverty. Lets empower each other!

As a teenager, I rarely had access to menstrual products, often making do with tissues. An ActionAid Poll revealed that more than 1 in 5 women in the UK currently experience Period Poverty, that’s more than 2.8 million people experiencing Period Poverty each month (Source ActionAid survey data 2023)
