Watch: Combining local ideas

People from up and down the country came together to discuss national solutions to poverty, inspired by local success stories.

The National Solutions Showcase event featured contributions from Cornwall, the North East, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and South Wales.

Projects discussed included A Just And Fair Future For Cornwall, a new report drawing on a breadth of voices; the Poverty Truth movement, particularly in Leeds, which has helped to bring people in poverty and decision makers together; and Children North East, which has pioneered work to poverty-proof schools in the region.
